So this is my first blog post from Laramie! We got internet and tv yesterday, so worth the money! I'm loving Laramie so far and i'm actually learning my way around pretty well! I got a job!! We are so blessed to have gotten a job so fast. I filled out 8 applications and then we took them back the next day and we got to the second place and I gave it to them and 5 minutes later (seriously) I got a call from the manager saying she wanted me to start the next day at 9am! So I started on Thursday working at the Quality Inn & Suites :-) Its brand new and its very nice. I'm a housekeeper and I actually really like it! Alex is being bored at home for now because he doesn't start school til the 27th. We came to Laramie with a roomate but he left after a week. So now we have the place to ourselves which I actually really like :-) Ok well here are some pictures of our little apartment!

Our room is super plain - I don't have many things to decorate it with. But we still have some stuff to hang up

The little bathroom
The wall opposite the sink is where the washer and dryer go I have it covered up by a shower curtain. Its kinda a pain because you have to leave the door shut and the fan on while the dryer is going so if you have to go to the bathroom while its going you almost die of heat. It doesn't vent outside so it just goes straight into the bathroom through a vent box.

When we got here we thought there would be a microwave in the apartment but there wasn't! So my wonderful Mother in Law sent us a microwave!

Sooo.... we got fish because we cant have any other pets. So we bought 4 goldfish and they died within 5 days. It was sad. So now we are leaving the fish tank empty for now :-) Still looks cool lol

Super cute! You've done a great job decorating. Isn't it so much fun? Glad you guys have a place to yourselves now. You need this time with just the two of you. It's worth paying the extra money ;)lol. Glad you got a job and everything is working out.

ReplyDeleteI feel like I just visited your house! Nice pictures of like-everything. Your appt. is super cute. :) I think you'd find much better luck if you went for a different fish...like, one-and probably a beta-male. They're pretty chill with a teeny tiny bowl and no air-flow. If you wanna do guppies, or goldfish, you've gotta get an air pump, and just add a bubble stone on the end of it. They need it. Just..be cautious cause if you get one with too much power, it'll be a splash-zone where ever you've got the bowl.
