Getting ready for the Derby :-)

So Alex is doing his 2nd derby this weekend! But this time its a compact car derby! Way scary for me.... he did full size last time and that didn't really make me nervous because the cars are huge but he's going to be getting slammed around in this little thing! Ahh! He will do great though :-) It's July 3rd at stateline and we're all going to watch him :-) Mom and Bob are going too! We're so excited :-) So here are just a couple of pictures of what the car looks like now (i'm painting it before the race) they were working under the car last night so they just flipped it on its side for easier access... dorks!

Camping Memorial Day weekend up at Moyie Springs :-)

It was raining the WHOLE weekend but luckily we were prepared :-)
We had like 3 of these pop up tents to cover all of us lol!

There were a few of these HUGE ant hills! Nasty!

Demo Derby last weekend!

That's my father in law's car with Jake (who painted it on the back)

So my mother in law Michelle, her friend Mona and I painted and made these cardboard cars for the kids to have a foot race with between two of the heats. They looks SO cute! Thanks Bob for the paint and stickers :-)

The kids were adorable! They got tickets before it started and we drew out 6 names. Ages 6-10
