Update!

Ahh! It's been so long since I've blogged. So a little update.... I'm working a Starbucks as a Barista. When I first started I thought I would never get the hang of it. There was so much to learn and I'm STILL learning. I'm really enjoying it and can see myself staying with the company for a long time. Alex has been working for my parents at CarQuest as a mechanic and will be starting his new job at Schweitzer as soon as they open for the season. He will be mechanic mostly making sure the groomers are always working properly. Its great pay and he get a free season pass and my season pass is only $25!! So excited. I'm so proud of him for studying hard at WyoTech and recieving AWESOME grades so that he can land jobs like this. Its only a seasonal job for now but hopefully he will be able to possibly stay on full time. We are still living at my parents house they have been awesome for letting us stay. We just can't afford a place right now! That's it for now!

Starbucks Guide for the Non Coffee Drinker

So after working at Starbucks for a while now i've found out that they actually have quite a few drinks that are coffee free! I always assumed that it was strictly coffee so I thought I would share some of my favorite coffee free drinks.

This is my favorite!! You HAVE to try it. It's the Caramel Apple Spice. Its a warm drink that tastes JUST like you are biting into a caramel apple. No joke. Its Cinnamon Dolce syrup, steamed apple juice topped with whipped cream and caramel drizzle. SO yummy!

This is a blended cold drink. The Vanilla Bean Frappuchino. Its just blended milk, vanilla bean powder and ice. It tastes like the best vanilla milkshake you've ever had. I like to add peppermint syrup sometimes :-)
This is the Double Chocolaty Chip Frappuchino. Its also blended with ice and milk but it also has mocho sauce and chocolate chunks :-)

The hot chocolate they have is also really good! And you can add any kinds of syrup to it! We have Raspberry, Vanilla, Caramel, Peppermint, Cinnamon Dolce, Hazelnut and then the seasonal syrups are Pumpkin Spice, Gingerbread and Creme Brulee. I feel like i'm missing some but oh well! You can ALSO get a 'Steamer' which is just steamed milk and then you add any syrup you want.

Everything's Coming Together!!

So since we have been back in Sandpoint we have been living with my parents. We are so lucky that they have let us stay there and save what little money we have been making. Alex has been working for them at the shop helping Lloyd when he get slammed with customers. I have been looking for a job for a while and wasn't finding anything! Everyone pretty much knows by now that Mom and Bob are moving into town and put the house on the market so Alex and I started getting a little stressed about finding a place to live! After weeks of being so stressed about money and just everything we found out Friday that we got approved for subsidised housing... such a blessing! So we should be able to move into our two bedroom apartment October 8th-ish! And THEN yesterday I got a call from Starbucks ( I had an interview there monday...) and she said that I got the job! So I should start sometime next week around the 12th! I just feel like everything is finally coming together and we are going to be able to finally relax! SO nice!

First Official Photoshoot :-)

So a while ago I got asked to do Christian Kennedy's senior pictures. His family was in our ward and moved to Portland last Thursday but he wanted his senior pictures taken before they left and they heard about me and I got the job! I didn't charge him cause he was my first official client I just asked that they tell everyone about me :-) I feel pretty good about the pictures considering it was my first time shooting a person (I usually just do nature shots) I love photography so much and hope to have this as a side job! I took over 300 pictures lol but these are some of my favorites
